I get 21/22mbps down, and it took about an hour for all the Xbox updates, then several hours for this game to install (it is HUGE!), and then update, etc (you can play a basic mode after it installs about 25%, but the graphics aren't as good and it's just a quick match game betten Heat/Spurs). One final thing if you are getting this for Christmas, I would seriously suggest you set it up the day before. Even those with high-end PCs will be impressed I suspect (I was much more impressed than I expected to be!). It's also easy to jump in/out of online play from any other mode, and you get a ton of VC for playing online (even losing!). The only thing I would say, running set plays and things like pick and roles just doesn't seem to work (at least on 3v3), it's better to just run'n'gun as a team than try fancy plays (less chance of a turnover, most possesions end in a goal anyway, regardless of running a pick play!). My Park mode lets you walk around and jump in and out of games, or watch other players playing a game, it really has a "pick up feel" and the abliity to walk around the park and interact with other players is great. I think online players will like it ALOT (although maybe not online association). As mentioned, there is extra commentrary, but wierdly they don't have my surname in this version, but do in current gen (/shrug - I just called my Jordan!).
They don't "float"and bounce off one-another as much as current gen.
The ball physics seem much improved, on the other side the players feel a little like they are wading in treacle. Shots don't feel like they are on rails as much, and it's certainly much harder to knock down 10 or more three's in a row (for example this is perhaps more realistic!). The gameplay itself is surprisingly similar. It is integrated into reallife NBA a lot more, with NBA highlight videos from the previous night's games playing on "NBA Today" mode and loads of stats available.
Especially when the game takes up nearly 30gb!). you could 3/2 or 4/1, this seems a bit tight TBH. It's all time spent in menu's rather than on the court too! Oh, and you are limited to 5 game saves for My GM and MY player COMBINED (i.e. It adds an interesting and real life dynamic to the game, but there is a lot of micromanagement (setting prices, right down to how much a hotdog costs!), again all this stuff slows gameplay big time. you have money so you need to try and stay out of the luxury tax, etc). I can't comment on My GM yet, I haven't spent enough time on it, its very different to Association Mode, and I suspect I'll spend a lot of my time here. Some commentry is new, and there are halftime interviews with managers and payers, and the coaches talk to you (text only). The core of current gen My Career is all there, just with loads of extra (mainly unnecessary stuff) added. The VC carries over from online play into your My Career mode).
I spent most of the day yesterday playing it and I only managed to get through about 8 games I think it took me more than an hour to get to the rookie showcase, and all while never played more than about half of a game (leveling up your player is much easier though, especially if you play other modes. Oh, and if you like My Career, TBH, I'd stick with current-gen/PC! It is so cheesy on next-gen, they made it into a story mode, a bit like Fight Night 4, but even more cheesy! Whatever position you play the guy opposite you is this who sounds like a 4 year old kid trying to pick a fight in the park, I was half expecting him to start with "Yo moma" jokes! The whole thing is so cliched, and then you get on a team and random cut-scenes happen, like some member of the sqaud (Varejao on my game!) will tell you to carry his shizzle to and from games, they even happen during the game, one player will come out with this idiotic speach about being the senior member of the squad and you better make the next pass to him (Kyrie) and then the game plays out based on how you respond to those cutscenes. Next-gen looks better, but they did something with the sound (a sort of reverb effect, I guess to make it sound like you are listening to music/etc in an arena it's very strange!), and it doesn't sound good at all.
They are two totally different games, each with plus points and minuses. I just got next-gen (Xbox One, not PS4) and, obviously, already had this (PC) version. Watching the footage and then trying some of that in the pc version you can tell that they changed a lot
MPTick eredeti hozzászólása:After watching a bunch of gameplay from the ps4 version it really becomes obvious that the next gen version has superior gameplay.
